Ant Hatching Day

A few days ago there were colonies of little red ants all over the farm that were in their hatching phase. This happened over about a 2 hour period, and then stopped. They were all hatching together. It was pretty stunning how many new, winged ants were taking off all over the place! The video really doesn’t do it justice.
